Almost 2 decades ago the original FREAK watch was launched.Initially a concept watch that eventually made it to production ordered by the late owner of Ulysse Nardin, Mr. Rolf Schnyder, and collaborated with Dr. Ludwig Oechslin.

Since the launch year of 2001, a long list of variations to the FREAK series have evolved into acclaimed and award winning watches prized by watch collectors worldwide.

One of the most intriguing and latest creations by Ulysses Nardin of the Freak series is known as the “FREAK OUT” — reinventing this exceptional collection of unique timepieces with a modern twist. This time using a forged titanium case, which according to the brand makes this offering more appealing to a wider audience of watch enthusiast.

Included with the FREAK OUT is the restyled case and bezel. Employing the Ulysse Nardin InnoVision 2 Concept Watch designs—and the matching bar tack loop stitching on the durable sailcloth straps. A strong technical feature of the FREAK OUT is its 7-day power reserve. Using a manual-winding system from the casebook.

The carousel-tourbillon movement is Ulysse Nardin’s in-house manufactured Caliber UN-205. The watch case size is 45mm. This is a watch that is compact and wearable even with the hefty case size. On the wrist the black sailcloth strap with folding buckle is comfortable and gives the overall package a sporty look for daily wear.
