Grand Seiko Sport Chronograph 15th Anniversary LE SBGC247G

A limited edition in celebration of the 15th anniversary of Grand Seiko Caliber 9R86. Limited to 700 pieces worldwide.

This watch is powered by a specially adjusted movement, Caliber 9R86, which delivers an accuracy of ±10 seconds per month ( ±0.5 seconds per day). In addition to the time of day and date, it offers a GMT hand and a power reserve indicator. The chronograph measures elapsed time up to 12 hours and the seconds hand moves in perfect, continuous and silent glide motion as it does so. The dial has the rugged texture of the snow surface that can be seen in the high mountains that surround the Shinshu Watch Studio in central Japan in late winter and early spring. When the daytime temperatures start to rise and the annual thaw begins, the wind carves a unique pattern as it whips across the melting snow drifts. This ephemeral and beautiful effect is captured on the dial.
