For globetrotters, pilots, and modern urban explorers, the cockpit has always been a place where style meets extreme utility. Bell & Ross, a brand synonymous with transferring aeronautical dashboard instruments directly to the wrist, has just announced a striking new limited-edition timepiece: the BR-03 GMT Green Lum.
Limited to only 500 pieces worldwide, this watch is designed to guide you through multiple time zones, both day and night, without ever compromising on style.
At first glance, the BR-03 GMT Green Lum immediately captivates with its original dial, featuring a unique vertical gradient. Transitioning seamlessly from deep black at the top to vibrant green at the bottom, the dial is designed to evoke a night sky illuminated by the ethereal glow of the Northern Lights.

Below, the watch makes itself right at home in its natural environment—the cockpit:
Legibility in extreme conditions is a core philosophy for Bell & Ross. The BR-03 GMT Green Lum takes this commitment to a new dimension under the cover of darkness:
Super-LumiNova® C3: The hands, numerals, and hour markers are heavily coated in pale green Super-LumiNova® C3, a high-performance strontium aluminate-based pigment.
The Bezel Glows Too: It isn’t just the dial that lights up. The 24-hour scale on the bidirectional rotating bezel is also photoluminescent, allowing travelers to track alternative time zones effortlessly in pitch-black conditions.
10-Hour Glow: The C3 variant of Super-LumiNova® contains zinc sulphide and copper, giving it its distinct green hue and allowing it to emit a bright, long-lasting glow for approximately 10 hours after exposure to light.
The GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) function is a legendary watchmaking complication that dates back to the rise of international air travel in the 1950s. With the BR-03 GMT Green Lum, tracking multiple time zones is highly intuitive:
Local Time: Read normally on the inner 12-hour scale printed on the dial.
Destination Time: Indicated by a dedicated second hour hand featuring a large triangular tip, pointing directly to the 24-hour scale engraved on the rotating bezel.
Third Time Zone: By using the bidirectional rotating bezel, frequent fliers can quickly calculate and display a third time zone.
The watch features the iconic Bell & Ross "circle within the square" case design, which has been the visual signature of the brand since the launch of the BR-01 and BR-03 collections.
Its 42 mm wide and 11.3 mm thick satin-finished and polished steel case is secured by four visible structural screws on the corners, mirroring cockpit clocks. Under the hood, it is powered by the automatic BR-CAL.303 caliber, offering a robust 54-hour power reserve.
Even the small details pay homage to aviation, such as the black seconds hand, which features an aircraft wing-shaped cross at its tip.
