Breitling’s ultimate all-purpose sports watch is ready for anything. The Chronomat holds a pivotal place in the brand’s modern history. Introduced for Breitling’s centennial in 1984, at a time when quartz movements dominated, it marked a bold return to mechanically driven watches. It was born from a collaboration with the beloved Italian aerobatic squadron, the Frecce Tricolori.
When the team asked for an analog timepiece that could withstand the intensity of a jet cockpit and still look stylish enough to be worn to formal events—Breitling developed the “Chronograph Frecce Tricolori.”
Available in a range of colorful dials, the Chronomat has a fully-integrated signature Rouleaux bracelet with micro adjustments on both sides of the clasp. True to the original, the Chronomat is powered by the in-house Breitling Manufacture Caliber 01.
It is a tried and tested COSC-certified chronograph caliber with a 6 o’clock date and a 70-hour power reserve. The case is water resistant to 200 m, making it ready for every
environment
